Highmark Senior Living, an affiliate of Hubbell Realty Company, is a full-service senior living, assisted living, and memory care provider for Edencrest communities, and is based out of West Des Moines, Iowa. Highmark Senior Living focuses on quality care excellence for residents and providing the finest communities of choice at Edencrests throughout Iowa. 

Highmark Senior Living provides management and oversight for nine (10) senior communities in Central Iowa, serving more than 400 residents and 300 employees.

Edencrest Communities are located throughout central Iowa in Adel, Altoona, Ankeny, Des Moines, Johnston, Pleasant Hill, Norwalk, Urbandale, and Waukee.

OUR TEAM

Highmark Senior Living is a collaborative, trusted team composed of seasoned professionals who are optimizing a healthy, balanced working environment with a focus on customer service and investing in the future. 

Jim leads the Highmark Senior Living team and oversees all operations of the Edencrest communities. He also serves as the Vice President of Asset Management, Risk, Real Estate Tax and Golf for Hubbell Realty Company. He was instrumental in the efforts to create Highmark Senior Living, the manager of Hubbell's Edencrest communities around Central Iowa.
Meet Brandon Kranovich, our Regional Director of Operations. A highly qualified leader, Brandon holds a Master of Health Care Administration from Des Moines University and a Bachelor's in Biochemistry from Drake University. His impressive background includes serving as an Executive Director with Edencrest, Hospice Administrator, Director of Health Center Operations, and Nursing Home Administrator, bringing a comprehensive understanding of healthcare operations to our team.
Staci brings a wealth of experience and a heart for service to her leadership role. With more than 15 years in healthcare and senior living, Staci is known for her compassionate approach and her talent for guiding families through one of life’s most important transitions. She leads with integrity, warmth, and a deep understanding of the unique needs of seniors and their loved ones. Staci is passionate about building meaningful relationships, supporting community teams, and ensuring that every family feels confident and cared for from the very first conversation.
Jason has 20+ years of fine-dining culinary expertise as an Executive Chef and leader of food programs in all facets from creation to research & development to standard operating procedures to final plating. He is looking forward to leading a revolution in culinary experiences for our Edencrest communities.
Kailee brings a compassionate heart and clinical expertise to support residents, families, and care teams across Edencrest communities, with a focus on Memory Care. With a strong background in nursing and a deep understanding of cognitive care, Kailee leads with empathy, innovation, and a steadfast commitment to quality. She works closely with each community to elevate memory care programming, train and mentor team members, and ensure residents living with dementia receive dignified, person-centered care.
Heather is a registered nurse with 18 years of experience and has been with Edencrest for 12 years. She supports the Edencrest communities by training and coaching the wellness staff to provide the best care to residents.
Jayme joins our team as an accomplished HR Business Partner, bringing a wealth of knowledge earned through dedicated service in Healthcare HR since 2011. She excels at building strong partnerships with leaders to develop and execute talent strategies that drive organizational success. Her deep understanding of the unique challenges and regulatory landscape within healthcare ensures that our HR practices are both compliant and effective in supporting our valuable workforce.
Alyssa brings a thoughtful, people-first approach to supporting teams across Edencrest communities. With a background in human resources and a passion for empowering others, Alyssa partners closely with leadership to cultivate positive workplace cultures, streamline HR processes, and ensure associates feel valued and supported. Alyssa’s work helps ensure Edencrest remains a place where both residents and staff thrive.
Jessica plays a key role in shaping the future of senior care by finding and hiring compassionate, skilled professionals who align with the organization’s mission and values. With a strong background in recruitment and human resources, Jessica is passionate about creating positive candidate experiences and building high-performing teams across Edencrest communities. Her strategic mindset and people-first approach help ensure every community is staffed with individuals who are not only qualified—but genuinely dedicated to enriching the lives of seniors.
Jessica is our Senior Accountant with 10 years accounting experience and five within the Senior Living industry. She impacts all of Highmark Senior Living by providing support for all accounting functions, including financial statements and budgeting as well as overseeing all resident billing and related processes.
Annette brings precision, organization, and a deep commitment to resident satisfaction to every community she supports. With a strong background in senior living operations and office management, Annette plays a critical role in ensuring the financial and administrative functions run smoothly across the Edencrest portfolio.
Connie brings precision, organization, and a deep commitment to resident satisfaction to every community she supports. With a strong background in senior living operations and office management, Connie plays a critical role in ensuring the financial and administrative functions run smoothly across the Edencrest portfolio.

Anna is a passionate storyteller and dynamic communicator dedicated to amplifying brands through authentic storytelling and strategic design. Anna combines creativity with data-driven strategies to make meaningful connections. Anna leads Edencrest marketing initiatives, including content creation, advertising, and reputation management. Whether it’s through crafting compelling content, designing visually engaging materials, or building partnerships, Anna thrives on helping Edencrest shine in the marketplace.
